MCE Mover is a tool what enables to use Microsoft Windows Media Center User Interface in a configuration with two or more displays connected to HTPC computer.

The idea is to have small (around 8") monitor, for example built in PC case like in OrigenAE X15e, which is connected to MCE based PC as a second screen and is used to choose music to play while the main monitor with high resolution is switched off.

MCE Mover enables to "move" Windows Media Center UI from one monitor to another simply by pressing certain combination on your MCE remote control.

How it works :

It's necessary to use all your displays in extended desktop mode. See in Windows documentation for details. In this mode doesn't matter (in opposite to "clone" mode") difference in size and resolution of all displays. With MCE Mover you will be able to move Windows Media Center user interface from monitor with high resolution, which is supposed to be used for watching videos etc. to small monitor with low resolution to choose some music to play without necessity to switch main monitor (plasma, projector) on.

Off course when watching videos or TV you can move MCE UI back to main monitor.

This action can be done simply by pressing two-button combination on your MCE remote control.
